# Net Worth & Cashflow

> Balance sheet, income vs expenses, and 6-month net worth trend.

## Balance sheet

The dashboard shows a live balance sheet with:

* **Assets**: checking accounts, savings, portfolio value
* **Liabilities**: credit card balances, outstanding loans
* **Net worth**: assets minus liabilities

Credit card balances are reconciled against your billing cycle on every app launch — the balance reflects charges in the current statement period, not historical payments.

## Cashflow chart

6-month bar chart showing income vs expenses per month. Computed from your transaction data:

* **Income**: transactions categorised as "Income"
* **Expenses**: all other non-transfer, non-CC-payment transactions

## Net worth trend

Reconstructs monthly net worth over 6 months by walking backward through your transactions from the current balance. Works even if you've only recently started using Vantage.

## Savings rate

`savings rate = (income - expenses) / income × 100`

Available per month or as a rolling average. Accessible via the AI advisor: "What's my savings rate this year?"
